Daily summary notification is a notification having a daily summary of weather at a time of your choosing. You can configure this in Menu (3 horizontal lines on the top left corner) ->Daily summary notification. Choose the location for which you want to receive the notification. And then choose the time at which you want to receive the notification for that location.
