If you’re unable to restore your Premium subscription, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
1. Purchased account is not the Primary account on your device
To restore Premium, make sure the Google account used to buy the subscription is set as your primary account on the Google Play Store.
How to check and fix this:
-
Open the Google Play Store app.
-
Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
-
Tap the down arrow next to your email address.
-
Select the account used to purchase Premium.
-
If it’s not listed, tap Add another account and sign in with that email.
-
-
Once selected, this becomes your active Play Store account.
-
Close and reopen the 1Weather app.
👉 This should restore your Premium (ad-free) access.
2. Installed the wrong version of the app
There are two versions of 1Weather:
-
One preloaded on Motorola devices (by Swish Apps).
-
One available for all devices on the Play Store (by OneLouder).
Purchases made in one version cannot be transferred to the other.
How to check and fix this:
-
Keep only the version where your Premium purchase was made.
-
If your Premium was bought on the Moto version, uninstall the Play Store version.
-
If bought on the Play Store version, uninstall the Moto version.
-
-
Ensure your Play Store account (the one used for the purchase) is set as the primary account (see steps above).
-
Open 1Weather again and tap Restore Purchase.
👉 Your Premium access should now reflect correctly.
