BaconReader now uses Android Account Management vs. the BaconReader client managing accounts. That's why these permissions are required.
v3.0 new permissions
New permissions marked as:
"NEW: Add or remove accounts, create accounts and set passwords"
Clicking on this for more info you get:
"NEW: Add or remove accounts
Allows the app to perform operations like adding and removing accounts, and deleting their password.
NEW: Create accounts and set passwords
Allows the app to use the account authenticator capabilities of the AccountManager, including creating accounts and getting and setting their passwords."
Is this permission really necessary for a Reddit client? I can't even find mention of V3.0 here in support (but it's available in Play)
